Today’s Scripture: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve

Money is so important, to the extent of it being the only thing God acknowledges as His
competition. Just imagine, God competes with only one thing, and that’s money. The
scripture above indicates this. The entire Bible doesn’t care about other gods; it says they are nothing! They don’t hear or speak, but when it came to money, He said: “You
cannot serve two masters.” In other words, God considers money a master, and He considers Himself a master. He also says that if you get to a point where you are trapped by money, you will not be able to serve Him. You cannot serve money and God at the same time because they are two masters.
So, imagine these very words were spoken by Jesus Himself. He wanted you to understand that both money and God serve the same purpose in your life. That’s why the Bible says money answers all things (Ecclesiastes 10:19); God also answers all things. Having known this, how do you then deal with this competition? Understand that the Bible talks about the excellence of wisdom over money. Money can’t give life, but wisdom gives life: “For wisdom, like money, is a shelter, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of its owner.” (Ecclesiastes 7:12). So, in all your financial endeavours, always put the Kingdom first. Have money with a mission. By so doing, you firmly establish God as your Master, and money as the soldiers you send to recruit even more soldiers for the KINGDOM!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I thank God for the wisdom that functions in me and causes me to prosper, succeed, and excel in all I do. With God as my Master, I’m piloted by wisdom unto greater levels of prosperity in Jesus’ Name!
