God’s Temple (2)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 30-31
TEXT : Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Cor. 3:16.
Today, after the death of Jesus, God’s temple is no longer in an Ark of the Covenant, though the physical building is referenced, we are now the dwelling place where God is living. “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.”
Matthew 27:50-51. When Jesus breathed his last, that veil that covered Moses face was removed, the limitation was lifted. Today, our body is God’s temple, God is living in us, dwelling in us, we are God’s tabernacle, we are God’s ark. 1 Corinthians 3:9 “For we are labourers together with God : ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” We are God’s house: God is physically dwelling in us that is why He said greater things shall ye do. 1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Child of God, we are treasures in earthen vessel, though we are made from the dust, just like the ark which is not just an ordinary box because of the ten commandments, it carried the presence of God,that it destroyed Dagon, terrify the Philippines (1 Sam. 4:7), prospered Obed-edom. So also you are carrying treasures because of the word of God in you. 2 Cor. 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
Child of God, you are God’s temple, represent Him well by loading yourself with treasures in earthen vessel (word of God).
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let your glory living in me, glow more and more.
