TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 144-146
TEXT: If thou faint in the day 9f adversity, thy strength is small. Prov. 24 :10.
MESSAGE: No temptation or trial is sweet in itself, but when you go through victoriously, the after effect produces sweetness. What you are passing through is not peculiar to you alone, others are in it, so go through and come out victoriously with the way of escape provided by God 1 Cor. 10 :13
God told Elijah I have 7000 prophets that have not bowed their knees to Baal (1 Kings 19 :18). “Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5 :9.
Your brethren are passing through the same experience you are going through now. “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.” Romans 5 :3 – 4.
Child of God, that trial is your training, settle down with patience and get experience you need for the next level of glory like scriptures says in Hebrews12 :11 “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”
Every great giant of faith you see in scriptures and in our contemporary times went through one form of trial and they stood out as examples for you to follow (Hebrews 6 :12) and reveal that treasure in you.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, that good thing in me that you want to bring out, let me shine.
