Place Value on Time

BIBLE READING: Romans 10-12

TEXT: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

God did not create some people to be more prosperous than others. One of the forces that has destroyed great destinies, making them servants instead of the kings that they are, is their lack of value for time. So, if you do not want to end up like them, place value on time; give attention to things timely. Time lost, cannot be regained. Most people who toy with time end up regretting with “had I known”.

In 2 Samuel 11:1-6, David toyed with time and ended up a toy in the hands of the devil. Scripture reports that at a time when kings went forth to battle, David sent forth his servants to battle but he tarried still at Jerusalem. And in the evening while walking upon the roof of the king’s house, he saw a woman washing herself and he became attracted, lost his sense of reasoning and did commit evil in subsequent verses just to marry her. By that singular mistake, David put a scar on his destiny. Whenever God spoke about him as a man after His heart, He would say except that he slept with the wife of Uriah and killed the husband.

Child of God, you must be sensitive to timing. Anyone who does not understand the value of time, will never understand life. God has given everybody time but what you do with your time determines what life gives back to you.

PRAYER
My Father! My Father! As I pray now, I frustrate the agenda of time-wasters in my life, in Jesus Name.
