TEXT: For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? 1 Corinthians 4 :7.

God seeks faithfulness in service. It is better not to serve than to serve without faithfulness. God is waiting for your faithfulness and wisdom demands that you settle down and be faithful.
Faithfulness makes you outstanding. Faithfulness distinguishes you. God testified of Moses’ faithfulness when He was angry with Aaron and Miriam saying, “Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a Vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house” (Numbers 12:6-7).

In 2 Kings 22:3-7; there was an account of faithful men whom the sum of silver in the house of the LORD was committed into their hands to commit them to various workmen to repair the breaches of the house. And just as the case of the men in 2 Kings 12 :10-15, the Bible says this of them in verse 7, “Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.”

“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find do doing.” (Matt. 24 :45-46).

There is indeed reward in faithfulness and there are still faithful men.

I pray for you, may God help you to observe and recognize faithfulness.

PRAYER.
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me Lord to be faithful in all my dealings, in Jesus name.
