Streams of Joy Daily Devotional 20th June 2026, Saturday Devotional Message
TOPIC: Forget the Naysayers
SCRIPTURE READING: MARK 10: 46-52
MEMORY VERSE
“God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” (Psalm 67: 7)
FOCUS VERSE
“And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.” (Mark 10: 49)
When Bartimaeus called out to Jesus, there were many people following Jesus who charged him to keep silent. He was crying out for help, but naysayers arose from all sides and asked him to shut up. Notice that when Jesus commanded that Bartimaeus be called, it was the same naysayers that asked him to rise and meet the Master. Jesus shut up the naysayers while healing Bartimaeus. He gave answers that shut them up.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to receive divine answers that will disgrace your naysayers. God will grant you miracles that will shut up the negative voices that are speaking against you. God will open major doors and gates for you that will cause your opposers to lose their voices. God will send you mega help that will cause your opposition to give up on you. God will send you miracles that silence naysayers.
Jesus did not even command the naysayers to stop speaking against Bartimaeus. He only called Bartimaeus, and they were forced to change their speech. Go and announce to all those who have been speaking against you: they will soon need to change their speech. God is about to do something that will cause them to edit their past messages to you. God is about to do something that will cause them to adjust their posture towards you.
Jesus was already being followed by multitudes because of the mighty works they saw Him do especially with regard to feeding the multitudes and healing the sick. So these naysayers knew He could heal Bartimaeus, yet they chose to speak against him. Don’t be exceedingly unsettled by the voices of naysayers. If God be for you, He will silence them by granting you that miracle that will take you off the naysayers’ list.
Welcome to that season where the Lord will bless you with mighty miracles that will shut up your naysayers. Welcome to that season where the Lord will be intentional to disgrace your naysayers by Himself.
DECLARATION
I receive that miracle that will silence and disgrace my naysayers, in Jesus’ name!
