Morning Prayer to Start Your Day 18 June 2026 (Inspired by Psalm 71:15–16)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this new morning and for the countless mercies You have poured into my life. As I begin this day, I lift my heart in worship and gratitude, remembering the words of Psalm 71:15–16: “My mouth will tell of Your righteous deeds, of Your saving acts all day long… I will come and proclaim Your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim Your righteous deeds, Yours alone.”
Lord, let my first thoughts be filled with praise for who You are. You have been faithful through every season of my life. You have rescued me in times of trouble, strengthened me in moments of weakness, and remained constant when everything else seemed uncertain.
Today, I choose to rely not on my own strength but on Yours. Empower me to face every task, every conversation, and every challenge with confidence that comes from Your presence. When I feel inadequate, remind me that Your power is more than enough to sustain me.
Father, place a song of thanksgiving in my heart and words of encouragement on my lips. May my mouth speak of Your goodness instead of complaining, Your promises instead of fear, and Your faithfulness instead of doubt. Let my life be a testimony that points others to Your saving grace.
Lord Jesus, help me to remember throughout this day that every good thing comes from You. Keep me humble when I succeed and steadfast when I struggle. Teach me to give You the glory in every victory and to trust You in every trial.
Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts and actions so they reflect Your righteousness. Help me to walk in integrity, speak truth with love, and show kindness to everyone I meet. Let my conduct honor the name of Christ and reveal the transforming work You are doing in my life.
Father, when unexpected obstacles arise, keep me anchored in hope. When I am tempted to rely solely on my own abilities, remind me that true strength is found in depending on You. Fill me with courage to step forward in faith and peace to rest in Your sovereign care.
As I go about this day, let my life proclaim Your mighty acts—not only through my words but also through my choices, my attitude, and my love for others. May everything I do reflect Your righteousness and bring honor to Your name.
Thank You for being my Savior, my strength, and my unfailing source of hope. I entrust this day into Your hands, confident that You will lead me in paths of righteousness for Your glory.
