SCRIPTURE: In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3.
THOUGHT: At the beginning of every new season of life, like the one we are in right now, God usually proves Himself.

Welcome to 2025!
As we step into this new year, I decree that God will cause you to experience new beginnings, new encounters, and new opportunities, in Jesus’ Name.
I will like you to know that we serve the God of new beginning.
At the beginning of every new season of life, like the one we are in right now, God usually proves Himself.
It is the Nature and Character of God to prove Himself at the Beginning of every new season of life. This is the reason why He is called the Alpha, and Omega; the Beginning and the End; and the First and the Last. (Rev. 22:13).
Today, let’s explore one example in Scripture where God revealed Himself as the God of new beginnings:
In the life of Samson
Samson, despite his mistakes, encountered the God of new beginnings. After Samson fell into the hands of his enemies and lost his hair—symbolizing his consecration—God’s power manifested in his life once again.
Judges 16:22 says,
Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven
The regrowth of Samson’s hair was a demonstration of God’s power to restore and initiate a new beginning.
Beloved, have you experienced any loss in your life? Have you lost your spiritual passion, career opportunities, ministerial effectiveness, or business progress, like Samson lost his hair? Here is good news: the God of new beginnings can restore it all. He can cause your “hair” to grow again and give you a fresh start.
What should you do today?
Make a heartfelt demand on the God of new beginnings to do something new in your life. Trust Him for restoration, just as He did in the life of Samson.
May this year bring divine restoration and a new chapter in every area of your life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
Remember this: At the beginning of every new season of life, like the one we are in right now, God usually proves Himself.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Convince yourself that God can and He is ready to give you a new beginning regardless of what you have lost.
- Make demands on the God of new beginning to begin a new thing in your life in this season.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the privilege of knowing You as the God of new beginning. I ask that You give me a new beginning, new encounters, and new breakthroughs, in this season, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
