SCRIPTURE: “When you run out of wood, the fire goes out; when the gossip ends, the quarrel dies down. A quarrelsome person in a dispute is like kerosene thrown on a fire. Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy; do you want junk like that in your belly?” (Proverbs 26:20-22, MSG).
MESSAGE: As Christians, we should avoid gossip and strife. The tongue is powerful, and we can use our words to fan the flames of discord and strife, or to bring peace.
