TOPIC: Power in the Word
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) – For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Word of God, according to this scripture, is “living”: it breathes, it sees, it moves, it reasons. This signifies the more of the Word of God in you, the more you are able to capture the thoughts and intents of men. God’s Word can go on a mission and accomplish it without fail, yes God sends His Word and heals them. Let’s go deeper on this one: John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God”. This same Word became flesh and dwelt amongst men, and we beheld the glory of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. That’s Jesus!
The Holy Spirit lives in you to do exploits for Christ. In this year of Heaven on Earth, just speak the Word with boldness, and you will surprise yourself to see complex situations evaporate. It’s an error to have the living, breathing two-edged sword living in you, yet headaches and fever want to pin you down and you don’t speak the Word. Begin to speak the Word over your family, your business, your finances and provoke a change in the name of Jesus.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am shielded in His Word, protected by His spirit, yes, Christ in me the hope of glory. I shall never be defeated, I shall speak boldly the Word of God to enact changes in my life!
