TOPIC: God Is A Rewarder

BIBLE READING: Numbers 34-36

TEXT: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not”. Galatians 6 :9

Any good input in the kingdom of God according to God’s instruction will not go without being rewarded by God. Our God is a God of reward. He has not called the seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain. There is no one serving God with his all now who will not be a showpiece of the faithfulness of God on due season. God rewards commitment in service. He will reward you. Only ensure you keep doing that which He asks you to do without getting weary in well doing;
God will not forget your labour of love which you have done to His name.

At times, people want instant rewards for all their good deeds and when they do not manifest as expected, they get discouraged. Those are baby Christians. Maturity in the kingdom demands trust in God for who He is; it demands holding onto God’s faithfulness, to the integrity of His words which are unfailing.

The Bible says, ….”for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11 :6.

You must have faith in God and obey Him. God rewards obedience, hence He counsels in 1 Corinthians 15 :58; “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord”.

The totality of all we do according to His word is in obedience to His command and He rewards, for He is committed to making up His jewels that serves Him Matt. 3 :17.

No one has truly served that God forgot to reward. In due season, the glory shall be revealed because God is a rewarder.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I make a fresh commitment to serve you unreservedly.
