Spoilers are people that don’t see anything good in you. They know your weakness and focus on it. But thank God we have a high priest that understands our weakness. Hebrew 4 :15.
Ziba, a servant in the house of Jonathan focused on Mephibosheth’s weakness. David inquired for anybody in Jonathan’s house to favour him because of the love and relationship between him and Jonathan, but Ziba emphasized on the fact that Mephibosheth is lame knowing that being a lame man, he cannot appear before the King according to the law.
He did that to disqualify him from the favour, but nevertheless Mephibosheth was restored to his original status as Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. “And David said unto him, fear not: for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan they fathers sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul that father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually” 2 Samuel 9 :7.
Yet again, when trouble arose in the house of David, Ziba displayed his disloyalty to his master by cunnishly bringing gifts to David, meanwhile he deceived his mater Mephibosheth to wait for him while he came and lied to David that Mephibosheth was happy that evil has befallen him so he could get back his father’s throne.
King David then reversed the favour of Mephibosheth and gave everything back to Ziba. 2 Samuel 16 :4; One thing with Spoilers of destiny is that if you don’t stop them, they will stop you. If you still have them close to you, you are not out of danger.
As you pray against them, the Spirit of God will paralyze them.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, every spoiler on assignment against me, your time is up. Be frustrated by fire.
