TOPIC: The Secret Key of Champions (2)

BIBLE READING: Galatians 4-6

TEXT: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Prov.3 :5 – 6.

God will only give direction to those who acknowledge Him as their shepherd and all in all. Those who do not lean on their own understanding in some matters and in others are calling on Him; but trust Him for direction in every matter of life.

To enjoy direction, which is the secret key of champions, you must understand that direction is in phases. You must get different direction per time. The direction for last year may not be the same for this year. That was the mistake John the Baptist made that cost him his life.

He came to prepare the way for the Lord and even after Jesus Christ came on the scene, he was still preaching. He (John) had finished a phase of his assignment and needed to ask God what his next assignment was since Christ has come, but he didn’t, hence drifted into marriage affair which cost him his life.

Learn to ask God what next to do. When our ministry was two years and going to three, I heard God audibly on the 12th of May, 2006 say, “it’s time to break into the nations of Africa and nothing would stop you.” And we began to spread into the nations as if we are doing open-air service and some asked me why we accomplish things cheaply, and I replied saying, “Apart from grace, we do not do anything until God says so”.

A time came and people were telling me to go on air and I went to God to enquire and He said, ‘Not now’, so I relaxed. And when the voice came “Showcase my power through the ministry of the media on July 14hI, 2007, I announced, “We are going on TV and ever since, it has been from glory to glory spreading all over the nations of the earth.

Why? Divine direction makes men champions.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I refuse henceforth to lead myself.
