TOPIC: The Word Of Your Testimony
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 12:11 (KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.
GoodNews Daily Devotional 26th August 2022 MESSAGE
Your testimony is a report. It is the evidence, that you have experienced the goodness of God, even if that evidence is in part. For example, in Mark chapter 8, a blind man was brought to Jesus to be healed. When Jesus ministered to him, his healing came in two parts. At first, he did not see men clearly, but he still testified that he saw ‘men as trees, walking’. Your testimony causes you to overcome.
Notice the scripture says that they over- came by [or because of] their testimony. That word ‘testimony’ literally refers to the office committed to the prophets of testifying concerning future events. That is the way of faith. We do not verify the spiritual by what we see in the natural. We accept by faith that what has taken place in the spiritual is perfected and will manifest in the natural. When a baby is being born, we do not wait to start celebrating after the baby is fully birthed. Instead, we celebrate at every stage of the delivery.
In the same way, when healing is ministered to you, you do not need to wait until you get the doctor’s confirmation before you testify. As soon as you detect a change – no matter how small – you can testify knowing that healing is already taking place. So, keep testifying about your miracle. Keep glorifying God. And no matter how the devil tries to fight your miracle, keep talking about it. By the time you testify, the balance of your healing will come!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Healing is mine today. God has sent His word, and His healing power is flowing through my body. I receive my healing now and testify of the goodness of the Lord!
