GoodNews Daily Devotional 21st July 2022 MESSAGE
I have encountered lots of families complaining about different negative traits that run through their families. Some tend to blame everything on the so-called “generational curses”. According to them, there are forces which fight everyone who tries to succeed in the family. If you ask them how many times they also gather and speak words for themselves and their children, you will realize that they never tried that at all.
In our scripture, the Bible says Jacob gathered his own children and started to speak words to them. He gave them the empowerment to prosper through a blessing. They were being catapulted into the future by the word of their father. You might be a father, mother, brother, sister or whosoever, how many times did you speak words upon your own family. Words are not just sounded but they are a currency which carries either negativity or positivity. Declare that you and your family are blessed, and nothing shall stop any- thing good to happen in your generation. Goodness and mercy shall surely follow you all the days of your life.
