TOPIC: Complete in Him
SCRIPTURE: But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him. 1 John 2:27
GoodNews Daily Devotional 16th March 2022 MESSAGE
Today’s scripture states to “abide in Him”. The word abide there is the word ‘meno’ and it means to continue in a certain place. In order for you to obtain the promises of God, you have to stay in Him. Reading your Bible, praying daily and walking in love are basic Christian practices. When you do this, you are abiding in Him. You will begin to see a change in your actions and before you know it, you begin to experience the fullness of Christ in you. Everything you need to help you in life is in the Word. Anything outside of His Word is a temporary fix.

Today’s society is trying to remove everything that aligns with God’s Word and replace it with a lie. You are not able to live a full life without Jesus. It is impossible. You may be known around the world and have millions of dollars in the bank, but you will still have a void in your heart. The world you see today is a by-product of people not abiding in Him. The lifestyle of Jesus is the best life you will have.
The world needs to see Jesus in you. Share what God has done in your life to the world. Don’t be ashamed of who you are. Shout to your family, friends and community that there is a God that loves them so much. Abiding in Him is not just for you, but for others to see His goodness. There is nothing else you need because He abides in you. You may be the only form of Jesus someone will see. Use every opportunity to introduce God’s love to the lost and tell them what they are missing outside of Him.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
God abides in me, and I abide in Him. My identity is in Him. I am complete in Jesus. Nothing is impossible for my God. Hallelujah!
