TOPIC: Change Your Address
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. – Colossians 1:13
At the end of every year, you exercise your faith and move into a “New Year.” You may not have realised that you were functioning in faith, but you were. You never saw, heard, or touched the new year. It is unperceivable to your physical senses. You simply looked at the calendar and believed that at 11:59 PM on the 31st of December, the current year would end, and a new year would begin. But a year does not know it’s a year. It does not look at a calendar and decide that on December 31st it will start something new.
The new year starts when it is declared to be so, and you move into it by faith. You did not feel or see anything that proves it is a new year, yet you declared it to be a “Happy New Year!” You talk about it as a new year. You change the way you write the date. You even set new goals and expectations based on this new “place” you believe you are in.
All because, by faith, you have accepted the declaration that it is a new year. Now God has declared to you that He has moved you from one place to another. He said that you are “translated,” removed from the power of darkness, and transferred into the Kingdom of His dear Son. This is not something that is going to happen. It has already happened. Your spiritual address has changed from one location to another.
Start talking as if you are there. Change what you say based on this new spiritual location. Be conscious of the reality that you are not who, what, or where you used to be. God has permanently changed your address to a location in the spiritual realm called Christ. Enter the consciousness of that location by faith. Live, speak, and act by faith, understanding that you did not just crossover into a year of wonders without number; you have permanently moved into your new spiritual address.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
God has changed my address, and I no longer function from a place of lack, poverty, sickness, or any disadvantage. I am blessed and highly favoured. I function from a place of absolute power where everything I say is backed by the parliament of Heaven. Glory be to God!
