TOPIC: A Done Deal
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. – 2 Corinthians 8:9
To those who think Jesus was poor because of this verse, let me explain a little further.
First, understand that Jesus never became poor spiritually. The scripture is talking about physical wealth in comparison to what He has in Heaven. So, the scripture above talks about physical, material, and financial blessings. Jesus gave up the comforts of Heaven and wealth as we know it for your sake, so that from what He gave up, you might inherit abundance. His becoming “poor” in comparison to what He has in Heaven means my money is set. It’s coming now more than ever as I get a hold of this revelation!
If, as a Christian, you have been praying, “O God, prosper me,” then you’ve been praying amiss, because our prosperity is a settled fact as far as God is concerned. In Christ Jesus, we’re heirs of prosperity. It’s like praying that God should make you a human being; you are one already. So praying for God to make you prosperous does not make sense because you are already prosperous! It’s a done deal!
In Christ, you’re born His heir. All of God’s wealth and resources belong to you because you’re His heir. The Bible says the silver, gold, precious stones, and the whole world belong to Him: “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:8). Do you see that? That means it’s all yours too! Your money is coming, no doubt. Live in that reality!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My God gave the ultimate sacrifice for me not to suffer. I shall walk in the light of the fact that I have money, and I shall not lack another day in this year of Wonders Without Number. Glory be to God!
