TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. – Psalm 35:27

GoodNews Daily Devotional 24 January 2022 MESSAGE

Have you ever seen how parents will go to great lengths to showcase and spread the
word on how brilliant their children are? Even if the achievements are not so brilliant, it
doesn’t make a difference. A doting parent will still tell anyone who will listen! I know some of you can identify. Now, in today’s scripture, we are told that God our Father has so much pleasure in our prosperity. As a proud parent, this is what He loves to see the most. It’s a pleasure for Him to see you produce the right environment for money. To see angels rushing to and on highways you have created to bring money to you.

You see, Christianity isn’t about the poor trying to be rich, but the rich discovering His inexhaustible riches and inheritance in Christ. In 3 John 1:2, the Apostle John reveals the mind of God, saying, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Do you see what makes God happy? You don’t have to pray, fast or beg God to prosper you. It’s a principle He has already furnished for His children to partake of. It’s His pleasure, His favourite thing to see, His highlight to see you flourishing. Begin to walk in a mindset of abundance – God doesn’t take pride in your lack.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Mine is a heritage of blessings and a life of supernatural increase, prosperity, and glory in Christ Jesus. My Father has pleasure in my prosperity; therefore, I shall continue to make Him proud!
