TOPIC: Holding Onto God’s Word – A Key To Perfection of Divine Promises

SCRIPTURE: …for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name…The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. Psalm 138:2, 8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God will never perfect a promise or Word you are not aware of.

MESSAGE: From our anchor scripture, we see that God has magnified His Word even above His Name. God does not play with whatever He says. He does not joke with whatever He has promised. It is easier for His Name to be taken for granted than for His Word to be taken for granted because His Word is magnified above His Names.

So, beloved, one of the secrets of attracting God to perfect all that concerns you is holding onto His Word.
Never let God’s promises concerning your life pass you by and never let the prophecies concerning you slip away; hold onto them in prayers and declarations because they must surely come to pass even though if it tarries (Matthew 5:18).

Now, it is also important to note that God will never perfect a promise or Word you are not aware of. He would not bring to fulfillment what you do not understand in His Word. So, it is the revelation you receive from God’s Word that provokes the fulfillment of the Word.
