Topic: You Are Part of His Body
Scripture: “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Ephesians 4:16 NLT
Message: The head and the body cannot be separated. As much as you need Jesus the Head of the church, Jesus equally needs you because without you, He cannot operate on earth. We are His body. Being the Head, He can think, just like your brain thinks everything. You can think of going to Abuja tomorrow but until your legs move, all your thoughts will never materialise. So also, Jesus is the Head; He is in charge, but we are the executors. We are the ones that will enforce His decisions here on earth.
That is why you cannot live under condemnation. Be assured that He dealt with sin, so that when the devil accuses you, you rebuke him. Peter denied Jesus, yet He said to Mary, “go and tell the disciples, tell Peter also. I know He is under condemnation but go and tell him that I have risen.” Jesus only meant that He was not condemning Peter. Thereafter, Peter got up and preached the message that brought 3,000 souls into the kingdom.
Whenever God wants to do anything mighty, He sends a vessel. Without any shadow of doubt, I know that God sent me to you. His work on the cross is more powerful than whatever the devil can offer. As the one that is sent, I declare that all the goodness on earth shall gravitate towards you. No more mourning in your life. You will build that house! You will buy that car! You will be married! You will excel in your academics! You will succeed in ministry! And you will raise that company. No more bankruptcy! There shall be spectacular manifestations in your life. Your mouth will testify. No more reproach in your life. I release glory upon your life. You have been discharged and acquitted to serve as part of the body of Christ. And the devil cannot appeal it.
