Topic: Don’t Let Your Love For God Grow Cold

Scripture: “This know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…” 2 Timothy 3:1-2 KJV

Message: We live in a world of complexities and as we climax the age, it will get worse. We live in a society that celebrates men and women who lack character and integrity and those who are first class materials are left to rot away. Consequently, there is no more desire for excellence and creativity. Mediocrity has become the order of the day. Our society is ready to pay huge sums of money to endorse people who have nothing of value to offer, while the budding ingenious minds are ignored.

Today it is a regular thing to read about people who are in dire need of medical attention, begging for a few dollars and no one cares. These people could have been useful to their generation, if not for their health challenge. I don’t understand why people will be so interested in frivolities and ephemeral things and never care about things that should really matter. While pondering on this, the Lord reminded me that in the last days, perilous times shall come. Evil will increase and the love of many will wax cold. People will be lovers of themselves more than lovers of God. A lot of people will be God haters and covenant breakers. It is really sad.

What is the hope of believers in all these? Why should we be in this wicked world? John 17:17 says: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy Word is truth” (KJV). The only place we will find truth and succour is in God’s Word. Stick to the Word and you will never be moved. Beloved, don’t ever let your love for Jesus get cold.

I release ministering spirits to go and clear every obstacle in your pathway. No more delays or postponement in your life. Where you have been turned back, they will send for you. Where doors were hitherto shut, they shall be open for you.
