TOPIC: The Power of Favour
SCRIPTURE: “But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than all the other apostles, yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace”. 1 Corinthians 15:10 (NLT)
TREM Daily Devotional 25th February 2022 MESSAGE
Many believers are not maximizing what God had put in them. Why? They do not understand that there are dimensions of favor. When favor is operating in your life, anything is possible. Apostle Paul declared that the favor of God made him an apostle. The same favor was the source of all his exploits and successes in ministry; Paul was not the man to be chosen but favor located him. Favour chose him. So, you see, when favor locates you, people will change their testimony about you.
Elizabeth was called barren! But favor located her, and they changed their testimony. According to the book of Exodus 3:21-22, God declares: And I will grant these people favor and respect in the sight of the Egyptians; therefore, it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed. But every woman shall [insistently] ask her neighbor and any woman who lives in her house, for articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and daughters. In this way, you are to plunder the Egyptians [leaving bondage with great possessions that are rightfully yours].” (Exodus 3:21-22 AMP).
Supernaturally, favor is deployed by God in your direction. And you cannot walk in favor and still go empty-handed. The days of emptiness are over. Your meal barrel shall be full. Your pocketbook shall be full because of the favor of God. The Lord will give you favor before the people that matter. The favor of God will announce you to the right people at the right time. The favor of God will announce you to your vision helpers. Favour will move you to the global platform which God had ordained on your behalf. Favour will cause you to walk the high places of this earth.
