TOPIC:Believers are Destroyed for Lack of Knowledge
SCRIPTURE: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6. (KJV)
TREM Daily Devotional 24 February 2022 MESSAGE
What power can stop you? What authority can stop you? There is none! In Christ, you are unstoppable! You must constantly affirm this truth. You are unstoppable in Christ! Why?
Because favor is upon your life! You must understand this truth.
The challenge with a lot of people is that they became Christians and walk in ignorance. They are ignorant of what the Lord has done. The truth is that the Lord has done everything that He had to do. Before Jesus gave up the ghost, He made a bold statement: “When Jesus, therefore, had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished, and he bowed his head and gave up the ghost.”
(John 19:30 KJV). This is a bold and very rich and robust statement that you can leverage on. Jesus was saying, in essence, I have finished it. I have dealt a deadly blow to the powers of darkness. It is finished!
Why are you ignorant of the things He paid for? Why are you ignorant of the reality of what He has done, in your life? Prophet Hosea stated clearly that God’s people, not the devil’s crowd, are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The ancient prophet of God, Isaiah also made a similar statement. “Therefore my people are gone into captivity because they do not know: and their men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” (Isaiah 5:13 KJV).
You see, they do not know that is the challenge. The reason the devil is raging is ignorance, is not because the devil is powerful. The devil is a defeated foe! He is a liar. Don’t fall for his lies. In Christ, Satan’s power over your life has been broken. He can do nothing to stop you. In Christ, you have a Divine advantage. Favour is your divine advantage.
