Daily Bible Verse 8th October 2022, Saturday
TODAY’S BIBLE VERSE: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Matthew 3:11
Today’s Bible Verse 8th October 2022 MESSAGE
It has been confirmed that praying in the Spirit helps us to pray with fervency.
Fervency means fire. Praying in the Spirit helps us to pray with fervency because the Holy Spirit is the Custodian of spiritual fire. The Holy Spirit comes with the baptism of fire. So, anywhere the Holy Ghost is present, fire is evident.
When you pray in the Spirit frequently, you intensify the fire of your prayer life.
Speaking in tongues are in densities or degrees; there are people who remain at the same level of speaking in tongues that they received when they got born again as Christians. They remain at the same level of speaking in tongues they attained when they were baptized in the Holy Ghost. Nothing has changed in their spiritual vocabulary.
But there are people who cause confusion in the kingdom of darkness whenever they speak in tongues. Their tongues usually carry the devil and land him on the ground. This is a product of reckless spiritual exercise and development.
The question is, what is your spiritual temperature?
I counsel you to charge up your spiritual life by praying abundantly in the Holy Ghost.
God is looking for a set of radical people who would turn the world upside down for Him. This is why Matthew 11:12 says that from the days of John the Baptist till now, the kingdom of heaven has legalized spiritual violence, and the violent taketh it by force (Paraphrased).
Therefore, make up your mind to add fire to your life by praying in the Holy Ghost.
Today’s Bible Verse 8th October 2022 PRAYER
Lord, I refuse to be spiritually lethargic and lukewarm. I receive the grace and discipline to be on fire always by praying in the Holy Ghost, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
