Today’s Bible Verse 3rd September 2022 MESSAGE
Desperation is one posture a person must maintain to hear God. People hear God when they are desperate to hear Him. But when people lack desperation, it becomes very difficult for them to hear God. Desperation is key to Divine Direction.
Let me give you my own experience: More than thirty years ago, as a young man on fire growing up for God, one of the things I feared most in life was missing God. I feared missing God, either in marriage or in Ministry.
There was such a level of desperation for God in my life. I told God, “O Lord, I cannot miss You in life. I cannot miss You in marriage. I cannot miss You in Ministry. I cannot miss You in destiny. I cannot miss You in any area of my life”.
This desperation pushed me into three days dry fasts and even seven days fasts at various junctions of my life. And God helped me at those junctions of my life. He helped me to understand and step into His Will for my life, both in marriage and in Ministry.
Desperation for Divine Direction pushes a person into God’s Presence and Purpose.
Beloved, I decree that you will not miss God in your life. You will not miss God in destiny, ministry, career or business in Jesus’ Name. Please, be desperate to know the Mind of God concerning your life and assignment. It is a posture to hearing and receiving from God.
Prayer for Today’s Bible Verse 3rd September 2022
Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask for a fresh fire of desperation for You so I can access Your Voice of direction, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
