“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” (2 Kings 7:1)
Streams of Joy Devotional 19th January 2022 MESSAGE
In our Focal Scripture, Elisha prophesied that a measure of fine flour and two measures of barley would be sold for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria by the next day. In the same place where men spent eighty shekels to buy an ass’s head, they were going to spend just one shekel to buy a measure of fine flour, or two measures of barley. The tables were going to turn dramatically. What was once difficult was going to become easy.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2022, whatever was difficult in time past is becoming easy. Whatever you struggled to achieve in the past will come to you with ease. Whatever that took you so much to achieve will take you so little to achieve.
Whatever was impossible in time past will become possible in this new year. Whatever target that had several roadblocks in time past will come your way without roadblocks.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: the tables are turning in your favour. Those that said no to you are saying yes. Those that rejected you will accept you. Those that said you will not amount to anything will watch you amount to something. Let the access to your new season be unleashed in your favour. Let the things and people that once worked against you begin to work for you. Let the chapters that were not in your favour start to favour you.
God will overturn and overturn and overturn, until your ‘one shekel’ begins to buy more than it ever did before. In this season, your little will attract much. Your little efforts will unlock the doors and gates of the supernatural. The doors that seemed closed before are opening to you right now. The milestones that others struggled to attain will come to you with ease. The results that were once difficult shall be made easy.
Welcome to that new season where nothing shall be impossible. Welcome to that season where God will turn the tables around in your favour.
Ezekiel 21:27 says: “I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.”
