FOCUS SCRIPTURE:  “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.” (1 Corinthians 15: 41)

Streams of Joy Devotional 16th February 2023 MESSAGE

Another distinctive role the sun plays is to control seasons and change of seasons. In Genesis 1 vs. 14, God said, “…Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”. So the sun was created to control, determine and alter seasons. The sun was made to be in charge of seasons. The sun was positioned to determine how a season should be.

Friend, one reason why you showed up in 2023 is to cause a change of seasons. God has positioned you to turn the seasons of life around. God has empowered you to end negative seasons and begin new ones. God has empowered you, not just to live in seasons that others created, but to create seasons that others will live in and enjoy. You were raised to disrupt the systems and structures of hell; you were raised to oppose and destroy the gates of hell. You are heaven’s disruptor.

You did not show up to merely complain about seasons. You did not show up to only discover what is wrong with the season you are in. You did not show up to tell the story of how bad your current season is. You did not show up to join in the pity party of those who are victims of the season they are in. You showed up to drive the process of changing every negative season. Through you, the seasons of others are meant to change.

Today, I pray for you: because you are a season changer, through you, what has never happened before, and what has never been achieved by anyone, you will be the first to have it. What has not come to others will come your way. Your rising will change the seasons of men. Your emergence will be the turning point for your generation. Your rising will end cycles of shame and pain for many. You will change the seasons for others to enjoy.

You are that season changer that your generation has been waiting for. Arise, take your place, and use your prayers and prophetic proclamations to change the times and seasons.

1 Chronicles 12: 32 says: “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”

DECLARATION: I am a season changer; I turn around every negative season around me, in Jesus’ name!
