SCRIPTURE: ACTS 12: 1-23
FOCUS VERSE:“21. And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. 22. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. 23. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.” (Acts 12: 21-23)
Streams of Joy Daily Devotional – 4th November 2025 MESSAGE
Prior to our Focal Scripture, God sent an angel to set Peter free from prison; and when Herod continued his chase for Peter, God also sent an angel that slapped Herod. God gave Peter freedom, and dealt with the wicked king that was against his freedom. God gave Peter access to the new, and also executed the one who was against the access that was granted to Peter. God helped Peter and decimated the system against his help.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: as the Lord opens your doors, every system of hell that is against you will go down. As the Lord causes you to prosper, He will bring down every arrangement of the kingdom of darkness that says you will not move forward. As your doors open, there will be slapping angels to silence those who want to shut your doors. As the Lord causes your light to shine, no man will be permitted to put it off.
Herod made an oration, the people said he sounded like a god, and the God of gods silenced him permanently. What Herod did by himself, became a set up for heaven to judge him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: for every man that is currently plotting against you or seeking your downfall, may heaven use them against themselves. May heaven set up every man that has come to make your destiny end unannounced.
God had a mandate on the life of Peter, that mandate was yet to be fulfilled, and Herod was not going to get away with trying to cut short that mandate. The mandate of heaven upon your life is sacrosanct, and no demon of hell can cause it to come to an end. The mission of heaven for your life will be fulfilled, nothing missing and nothing broken. What God has said concerning you will come to pass, and no Herod can stop it.
Welcome to that season where the systems of hell and of men that are set up against you will crumble like a park of cards. Welcome to that season where heaven will orchestrate the downfall of your opposers.
Revelations 3: 8 says: “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.”
DECLARATION: Every Herod that is positioned against me is going down, in Jesus’ name!
