Streams of Joy 8th July 2025 Devotional (Tuesday) Message
TOPIC: No Satanic Wind
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13:6-9(KJV)
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
MEMORY VERSE
“Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.” (Jeremiah 30: 23)

Streams of Joy 8th July 2025 Devotional: MESSAGE
In our Focal Scripture, Jesus spoke a parable of a fig tree planted in a vineyard, which the owner came to, seeking fruits and found none. Revelations 6 vs. 13 (TPT) tells a story of how a fig tree may be unfruitful: “The stars fell from heaven to the earth, as a fig tree shaken by a stormy wind sheds its unripe figs”. So, it is possible that figs would start bearing fruits, but winds would descend and cause the unripe figs to be cast down. There are times when the winds would scuttle the fruits of the fig.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic wind that wants to scuttle your fruits, I decree, let the whirlwind of the Lord arise and destroy it. Every wind that wants to cut short your rising, let the Lord arise and scatter it. Every satanic wind that wants to make a mess of your efforts, let the Lord arise and scatter it. Every satanic wind that wants to destroy your harvest, let the Lord arise and cut it short. Every storm of wind that wants to swallow your harvest, let the storm end now.
The fig that was described in Revelation 6 was already on its journey to fruitfulness, when the wind arose and scuttled it. So, the journey of fruitfulness stopped on the way. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your journey of results will not stop on the way. Your fruitfulness will not stop on the way. Your harvest will not stop on the way. It will never be said that what God wanted to make out of your life ended on the way.

The figs in Revelations 6 had grown fruits, but the unripe fruits fell because of a wind. The fruits fell prematurely because of a wind, and so everything was lost despite the fact that fruitfulness had begun. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every plan of the enemy to cause things to go wrong when your fruitfulness has already begun, I decree, it will not stand. Every destruction fired at your fruits, I decree, let it be reversed by fire.
No longer shall it be said that you were on your way to becoming fruitful, only for your fruits to die in your hands. No longer shall it be said that contrary winds came against you and scuttled your fruits.
DECLARATION:
My harvest today will exceed yesterday’s harvest, and my harvest tomorrow will exceed today’s harvest, in Jesus’ name!
