Streams of Joy 24th April 2025 Devotional (Thursday) Message
TOPIC: The Devil Came Late
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 8:26-39
“Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.” (Luke 8: 37)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of when people in the city of the Gadarenes besought Jesus to depart out of their coasts. Jesus healed and rescued the man that was possessed with devils; He worked a mighty wonder in the city; He broke chains of demonic affliction; He set the man free before people in the city demanded that He must leave. The miracle happened before they asked Him to leave. The men that came against him came too late.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in matters concerning your destiny, the devil will continue to come late. Your miracle would already be in your bag before the haters show up. What God has ordained for you would already be complete before the spoilers show up. You would have already been favoured before the voices of your opposers will be heard. You would already be in your wealthy place before the enemies of your miracle arrive.
Those that were infuriated by the works that Jesus performed were in some sort of amnesia until Jesus completed the miracle and all they could do was to ask Him to leave. They were enemies of the works of God, they were opposers of the works of El Roi, and they came late, too late to stop the works of El Roi. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every man that is against the works of God in your life, I decree, they will be too late to the party.
When El Roi arises to work, no spoiler gets in His way. When El Roi chooses to show up, no spoiler can stop the party. When El Roi arises on your behalf, He will complete His work before anyone has an opportunity to share their dissenting opinion. When El Roi arises, your results will be delivered in full, and no hater or spoiler will stop what the Lord has done. Any spoiler or opposer, I decree, may they be absent until your miracles arrive.
Welcome to that season where your miracles will come before the enemy has anything to do about it. Welcome to that season where the enemy will be perpetually late to your party.
Romans 9: 28 says: “For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.”
DECLARATION: Every spoiler of my miracle, I decree, you will be late to the party, in Jesus’ name!
