Streams of Joy 16th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Sunday) Message

SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13
“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” (Luke 13: 12)
Our Focal Scripture makes mention of the encounter between Jesus and the woman who was afflicted by the spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. This encounter took place in the temple. This woman came to the temple; she came to the place of the worship of God; but she had something in her life that was not a reflection of the God she came to worship. There was something in her life that contradicted the power of God.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: everything in your life that is a contradiction of the word of the Lord concerning you, I decree, it ends now. I command every negativity that is mocking your walk with God to end now. I command every situation that does not represent God well to end now. I command every affliction that is mocking your walk with God to end now. I command every challenge that mocks your walk with God to end.
What that woman suffered would have made it look like there was no power in God afterall. What she suffered seemed like an endorsement of the fallacy that you could come to God and yet everything remains the same. Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever that has arisen to reinforce the idea that God is not at work in your life, I command it to end now. I command an instant reversal of every contradiction in your life.
It will never be said that you served God but dwelt in darkness. It will never be said that you always came to the ‘temple’ but never experienced the God that works in the temple. It will never be said that you came to the place of power in God, and yet your life remained the same. It will never be said that your time in the temple didn’t make a difference in your life. Your efforts to go to the ‘temple’ will not mock you.
The days of satanic contradictions in your life, are over. No longer shall it be said that you came to God but remained under the spirit of infirmity.
Zephaniah 3: 19 says: “Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.”
DECLARATION: Every contradiction in my life is broken, in Jesus’ name!
