SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13:6-9(KJV)
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
MEMORY VERSE
“But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.” (Matthew 15: 13)

Streams of Joy 10th July 2025 Devotional – MESSAGE
Our Focal Scripture makes mention of the parable of the fig tree. One of the challenges of fruiting in the fig tree, according to agriculturists, is when there is too much nitrogen in the soil. Ordinarily, nitrogen is needed to help the fig to grow; nitrogen is good for the fig; but when it comes in excess, it becomes a limitation on the fig. It is then a case of what is good, becoming bad because it is in excess. It is a case of the good turning out to be bad.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: everything in your life that wants to go out of proportion and mess up your fruits, I decree, let it be reversed. I command everything that has come in excess to be reversed. I command everything that has gone out of proportion to be reversed. Whatever was meant to be positive that has become negative and is working against you, let it be reversed. Let every seed of negativity be reversed.
What the Lord has made positive will not become negative. What the Lord has put in place for your good will not work against you. What the Lord has provided for your good will not work against you. The helpers that God sent your way will not turn around and work against you. The people that God sent into your life will not become counterproductive to your progress. The blessings of the Lord in your life will not bring you sorrow.
Every power that says your nutrients will become poisonous to your destiny, I decree, let it scatter by fire. Every power of hell that wants to turn your helpers into destroyers, let the fire of God answer. Every power of hell that wants to turn the tables against you, let the fire of God answer. Every power of hell that wants what is meant to work for you, to begin to work against you, let fire answer. Let the fire of God reverse the negativity.
It will never be said that God made things happen for you, but the enemy turned the same things against you. It will never be said that what began positively in your life ended up negatively.
DECLARATION:
