TOPIC: The Blessing, A Secret of Progress
SCRIPTURE: Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. Genesis 26:12
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Blessing is the Divine powering or motorization of human life and destiny unto success and progress.
SEEDS OF DESTINY , SOD DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR SUNDAY
Isaac was one of the persons in Scripture who was greatly blessed by God.
Our anchor Scripture reveals that Isaac sowed in the land and received in the same year, a hundredfold harvest because the Lord blessed him. He waxed great and grew until he became very great. He had possession of flock and many servants, and so the Philistines envied him.
Now, what is the Blessing? I would like to define the Blessing as the Divine powering or motorization of human life and destiny unto success and progress. This was what happened to Isaac.
The Blessing is the Divine enhancement and empowerment of human life unto success and progress.
When the Lord blessed Isaac, Isaac went forward and grew until he became very great. But for the Blessing of God, Isaac would have remained on the same spot in life. But when the Lord blessed him, he had no option but to move forward.
When a man is blessed by God, he has been powered to go forward. When a person is blessed by God, such a person has been practically motorized for unusual acceleration in life.
The difference between a blessed man and an unblessed person is like a difference between a canoe and a speedboat. A blessed man is like a speedboat in terms of movement while an unblessed man is like a canoe. The speedboat moves incomparably faster than the canoe. By the time the speedboat has gone to the other side and returned; the man with the canoe is still padding laboriously.
Today, I decree the Blessing of God on your life for the powering and motorization of your life unto success and progress in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: The Blessing is the Divine powering or motorization of human life and destiny unto success and progress.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. By all means, make up your mind to attract the Blessing of God.
2. Ask God to release His Blessings on you.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You bless me indeed for the powering of my life and destiny unto progress and success, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
