TOPIC: Connecting the Blessing Through Prayer

SCRIPTURE: And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD: GENESIS 19:27.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your schedule with God determines your success in life.
The Scripture makes it clear that walking in the Blessing is God’s Will for His children. This was the reason God blessed the first man in the beginning (Gen. 1:28), and the same reason Jesus Christ received for us the package of God’s Blessing on the Cross of Calvary (Revelation 5:12).
Now, one way to connect the Blessing of God is through prayer. Prayer is a major Scriptural channel for the release of the blessing or supernatural supplies (Matthew 6:11). That is why prayerful people are blessed people, and blessed people are prayer people.
Abraham walked in the Blessing, and a majorsecret behindhis blessed lifewas his prayer life.
In Genesis 18:23-33, we saw Abraham communing with God and interceding for Sodom. Also, in Genesis 19:27, Abraham got up early to meet God at the place of prayer. This showed that Abraham had a schedule of prayer with God.
Two things to learn from Abraham’s prayer schedule are:
i. Your schedule with God determines your success in life.
It is not possible to be successful in life when God is not included in your schedule.
ii. Your private victory determines your public success.
Those who are missing at the place of communion with God privately can never be successful publicly. Abraham stood before God regularly.
My counsel is, make up your mind to maintain a consistent personal and family prayer altar this year.
Now, another avenue through which you can maintain a consistent prayer altar is our corporate prayer altar, The Commanding the Day Midnight Prayer (CTDMP). This is a global altar of prayer that God has set up to change lives and destinies all over the world. You may have connected to the prayer online once or twice, but you need to be consistent. This is because it is not what you do occasionally that delivers results but what you do consistently.
So, make up your mind this year to make The Commanding the Day Midnight Prayer a priority in your life. You can also mobilise your friends and family members to join the midnight prayer. God bless you as you do so!
