TOPIC: Impacting Your World Through the Word
SCRIPTURE: The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. Isaiah 9:8.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When God sends a Word to one person, His intention is for that Word to change an entire generation.

It has been confirmed that the Word of God is loaded with treasures. That is why to access the Word is to encounter treasures.
Isaiah 9:8 says,
The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
This means, the Word of God to a person is designed to impact a people. God sent a Word to Jacob and it lighted upon the whole nation of Israel.
The Word of God to one man is designed to affect an entire community, nation or generation. In other words, one person may be the recipient of the Word and his whole family received the impact.
This implies that the Word of God in your life is not meant to stop with you. The reason why you carry the Bible is not for religious purpose; it is so that everyone in your immediate family and neighbourhood can be affected positively by the Word of God.
So, the Word of God is designed to produce a transformation in your life and also impact your world.
So, for unbelievers to pity you as a Christian is an abomination. Unbelievers are meant to look at you, study your life for a while and say, “Pastor, brother, sister, teach me how to live. I can see something in your life that is affecting my life positively.”
This is because when God sends a Word to one person, His intention is for that Word to change an entire generation.
My counsel is, make up your mind to treasure the Word of God. Access the treasures of God’s Word to change both your life and your generation.
Remember this: When God sends a word to one person, His intention is for that word to change an entire generation.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You show me the treasures of Your Word that will affect my life and my generation positively, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
