TOPIC: Find It Out From God

SCRIPTURE: And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Acts 9:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until you find out from God, you may not know what He is saying.

SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE – JANUARY 19, 2024

It has been confirmed that one way to maximize a new season is to identify what God would want you to do.

When you begin a new year or a new season, there are things or visions you would put ahead of you. All the dreams and visions are good. However, there is a need to identify which amongst your outlined visions God would want you to focus more on.

So, you go to the Lord and ask, “Lord, I have set out my visions and goals for the year, but is there any of these visions you want me to pay more attention to this year? What do you want me to lay emphasis on?”

This is the question and enquiry Paul asked the Lord in Acts 9:6, when he said:
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

You see, God always has something to say. It is our duty to enquire from Him what He is saying to us per time. Until you find out from God, you may not know what He is saying.

Let me give you an illustration. In the city of Abuja, Nigeria, there are many radio stations that are broadcasting 24 hours every day. But you will not hear their news until you tune in to their frequencies.

In the same way, it is wrong to say that God is not speaking. God is always speaking to those who want to hear Him.

My counsel is, make up your mind to enquire from God the area of your outlined vision that He would want you to focus more on this year.

REMEMBER THIS: Until you find out from God, you may not know what He is saying.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Find out from God the area He would like you to focus more on this year.
2. Then make up your mind to focus on that area.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You open my ears to hear Your Word. Reveal to me what You want me to do this year, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
