TOPIC: God’s Ultimate Vision
SCRIPTURE: For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Accepting average living is a hindrance to the fulfilment of God’s vision and program on earth.
MESSAGE: Our anchor Scripture reveals that God has a vision. God has a mission, and it is to fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the water covers the sea.
This means, God wants Abuja city, Nigeria, Africa and all other continents and nations of the world to be infiltrated, penetrated, filled and saturated with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
To break this vision into bits for clarity of understanding, God wants the economic realm, the political realm, the academic realm, the scientific and technological world, the sports and entertainment world, the media world and all other realms of human endeavour to be filled with the knowledge of His Glory.
In simpler terms, God wants to take over the world; He wants to invade and take over every facet of human endeavour. He wants to invade and take over every community, city, nation and continent so they can be filled with the knowledge of His glory, power and principles. He wants to fill the world with Himself as the waters cover the seas.
Now, the question is, how does God want to achieve this vision of His?
It is by positioning His people in places of leadership as stars, pacesetters, history makers, front-liners, etc.
This means, to fulfil this vision, you must stand out as a leader, star, pacesetter, and front-liner in your field for God. God wants to position you to take over your realm for Him just as He positioned Daniel.
Daniel 6:1-2 says,
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
So, accepting average living is a hindrance to the fulfilment of God’s vision and program on earth.

ASSIGNMENTS:
- By all means, refuse mediocrity and obscurity in your career or field of endeavour.
- Stand up, stand apart and stand out for God in your field, and by all means, be excellent.
PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from the lifestyle of mediocrity. Help me to stand out for You in my field so I can fulfil Your Vision for my world, Lord, in Jesus’ name.
