OPENING PRAYER: Let me know more of you today dear Lord as I meditate on your word.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Exodus 35:30-36:7

• Q 2: Is there any example for me to follow or not to follow?

Moses introduces Bezalel and Oholiab as God’s chosen specialists to carry out various designs and constructions. Notice the various endowments bestowed on these men by God (35:31). In addition to carrying out the work, what other assignment were they given (35:34)? God-given knowledge and skills are meant to be shared with others. What steps will you take to multiply your knowledge and skills in others?

In 36:1-5, we notice that apart from Bezalel and Oholiab, there were other skilled workmen engaged in the project. How do you think they were able to work harmoniously without quarrel or disagreement? Mention some things that cause disharmony in similar situations today.

36:2-3 show that Moses handed all the offerings the people brought for the work to the workmen. Also, the workmen having received enough resources reported that the people were bringing more than required. Both Moses and the workmen displayed exemplary trustworthiness and integrity. On the part of the people, they never stopped giving until they were restrained. What a display of cheerful, bountiful, generosity in giving!
