Scripture Union Daily Guide 11 June 2026 – OUTLINE
What can you deduce from Christ’ response to the Pharisees in Luke 16:14,15? Do we elevate ourselves before men? That is a bad attitude to display. What will you deduce from Luke 16:16. How can you apply this as far as entering the kingdom is concern? Status may vary in life (Luke 16:19) as it relates to wealth and penury.
The inequality between the rich and poor may be more obvious in Africa. This is true because men honor their fellow men because of their wealth. To be rich is not evil, but it is bad when used against the voiceless. Use your riches well while you are alive. The riches made some men forget the reality of death. Instead of listening to the prophets and teachers on earth, he did not. But in hell, he remembers their existence.
Will you respond to the gospel when it is too late? Will you become a sudden preacher in hell? Prayers, preaching and pleading that is not done in the days of opportunity cannot be tenable in hell, (Luke 16:31). We all have a common appointment – death. See Hebrews 9:27.
