Have you ever experienced a huge shift in your life that leaves you feeling out of sync?

It’s a strange feeling, as though life slipped off track and you’re out of place. It’s disorienting.
I’ll bet you have experienced it. Maybe you or someone you love is feeling that way today. Your job description was rewritten and you’re feeling like a stranger at your own desk. Your last child left for college and the house has lost that “homey” feeling. A loved one has departed for heaven and suddenly you don’t feel so at home here on earth.
What do you do when life slips out of gear? Get closer to the One who never changes. Turn to Him. Read a Psalm. Whisper a prayer. Sing a song of praise.
Jesus told us to remember – and it is so important that we do – He is with us always!
Surely, it must be one of the great treasures of the Bible … the word always.
Thank You, Lord, for the word always – and that You are always God, always present, always with me! I confess there are times when I take my eyes off You, forget this precious promise. Overwhelm me with this truth: today, tomorrow, always … I am never without You.
