TOPIC: The Power to Heal
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
– Hebrews 13:8
Don’t allow anyone to stop you from receiving your healing. Be like blind Bartimaeus who—as he sat by the roadside begging—heard Jesus passing by and shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Others rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted even louder. He wasn’t going to let anything stop him from touching Jesus! “Have mercy on me,” he cried…and Jesus did!
When the doubters start knocking at your door saying, “God doesn’t heal today,” you need to proclaim the truth of Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Then, remind them of Romans 8:11, “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal body through His Spirit, who lives in you.”
Through the power of Jesus and faith in Him, you have the power to heal and be healed. “So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11). Ask for it, and you will receive it.
Lord, thank you for healing me even if I don’t see I know the truth is that I am healed. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever and I choose to believe in you! Amen
