TOPIC: A Day with Joni ~ Are You a Connector?
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

Do you draw people together, or push them apart?
Unity in the body of Christ is so important. The health of the body suffers when vital connections are broken. The very fact that the metaphor of a body is used of the church – think of it! When one part of the body ceases to function as part of the whole, we call it a handicap!
Within the body, we are all different; we are supposed to be different; our glory and giftings shine through our differences. But rather than withdraw in the face of our diversity, we must all become keepers of the connections. The more connectors a church has, the healthier her fellowship.
What role do you play in the church where unity is concerned? Are you a connector? Do you draw people together, or push them apart?
You are the Head of the Church, Lord. You’ve placed me in the body and given me a vital role to play. Will You help me to appreciate more fully the important roles others play, to be a connector and not a defector where relationships are concerned? Lord, bless Your church – and use me to bless others, I pray.
