Many perceive Jesus much the same as the pictures you might remember from Sunday school. He has long brown hair and a beard, wears a long flowing robe and sandals. Add to this a yellow glowing light around His head, and show Him holding a little lamb. However, we do not serve a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. We serve the King of kings and Lord of lords, with the keys of death and hell in His hand!
Jesus is returning not as a suffering servant but as a reigning King! God is passionately calling His church to abandonment, so that we may usher in the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen, before our Savior’s soon return. Consequently, Jesus must be Lord of all or not Lord at all.
Is Jesus ruling in every area of your life? Have you submitted to His lordship?
I yield to the sovereignty of Jesus, my Lord and King.
