TOPIC: You Have Need of Patience
For you need patience, so that after you have done the will of God, you will receive the promise.
– Hebrews 10:36
When you first create a budget, the first 90 days is critical. You will want to stop 90 times in 90 days. There is nothing your flesh is going to like about your budget. If what you want to buy is not a matter of life and death, do not buy it. If you can live without it and live, that is an indicator you can have it and die. Crucify your flesh; be disciplined in your finances.

In the first month, it is going to seem like your budget is not working. The second month, you will probably still need to make some major adjustments. When you started your budget, you did not know where your money was going; now that you’ve started the process, you begin to see where you need to tweak and make modifications. By the third month, you will be able to tell that a budget is making a significant difference in your financial stability. It probably took a long time to get in the mess you’re in. It will take time to get out. Do not give up.
Holy Spirit, give me the wisdom and patience to achieve financial stability.
