TOPIC: Do You Serve Money?
For the love of money is the root of all evil. While coveting after money, some have strayed from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. – 1 Timothy 6:10
There are four indicators that you serve money, instead of money serving you:

1) Rather than working 40 hours a week for God, to serve Him, you work 40 hours a week at a job you hate for money.
2) You spend more than 30% of your monthly income on debt.
3) You use your savings or credit card cash advance to pay bills, to finance a lifestyle you cannot afford.
4) There is conflict in your home over money.
Ask the Holy Spirit to open opportunities for you to serve God, not just work at a job you hate because you have to. You can serve God on your job, but it doesn’t have to be a job you hate. You can love the work you do for Him, whether it be as a waitress, CEO, pastor, teacher or housewife. Then live contentedly within the resources God gives you.
Holy Spirit, place me in the vocation for which God has designed me to serve Him.
