Rhema For Living 9 September 2022 OFM Devotional MESSAGE
Our God is a God that does wonders, that is His area of specialties. Hence He is called wonderful. His wonders absolutely differentiates Him as God. No wonder He says, in Isaiah 55 :8 – 9; ” For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways…for as the havens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
You can experience His wonders regularly in your life if only you can press the buttons that triggers them.
The Holiness Factor:
God is glorious in holiness, doing wonders. If you want to continually trigger His wonders in your life, be ye holy as He is holy. Of course it is not by the energy of the flesh but empowered by the Spirit, but there must be a willful determination to attain it.
There must be a longing in your spirit for it. It takes a decision backed up with passion and helped by the Holy Spirit. It takes the grace of God, which you ought to long for constantly, daily surrendering at the cross yielding your members to Him. Salvation brought righteousness as a gift to us, with so much promises.
We are therefore to put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4 :24), we are to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2Cor. 7 :1. “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness but into holiness 1 Thess. 4 :7.
If we do, we trigger His wonders in our lives.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, pour your grace afresh upon me for a consecrated life unto you…..
