TOPIC: There Is A Reason

TEXT: “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.” – Prov.29 :27.
Rhema For Living 8 October 2022 OFM MESSAGE
For every act of hatred towards you without a cause, there is a reason. Before you gave your life to Christ, there were people that were your friends because you were agreeing in thought, words and actions, but when you got saved and your ways changed, somehow there was a distance. So also even when you were changed, but still indulges in some secret sins, there were same so called believers who love to hang around you because your ways agree.
But now that you have made up your mind to entirely obey the commandments of God and not indulge in sin or permit its activities around you, you have become an enemy. At every point in time they look for ways to slander you instigating people behind the scene to rise up against you from different quarters so it will look as if you are the troublesome one and you are wondering why.

You don’t have to bother yourself because darkness and light cannot cohabit; neither can they be on same page because they are from two different kingdoms. So also as spelt out by our anchor text, he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked and an unjust man even of the same kingdom of light is also an abomination to the just.
Even if such unjust persons choose to come close to you, your system can no longer accommodate them because of their ways. The Spirit of God at work in you just wouldn’t allow you to be comfortable around them, so also they cannot with you. In a situation where you see such persons force their way on you to be close to you, it is an act of pretense to get at you or they wish to change to be like you.
If therefore you are at peace with God, with a focus to please Him, that is a reason for fierce opposition.
So cheer up…
