TEXT:Â “For the LORD God is a sun and L: the LORD will give grace and glory : no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psalms 84 :11.

The Bible says in 2 Peter 1 :2; “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.” If you want to enjoy grace and more grace in the journey of life, go for the knowledge of God. It is the knowledge of God that makes you walk uprightly and no good thing will God withhold from you as our anchor text spelt out.
The Knowledge of God that Daniel and his friends had made them to fear God and chose not to defile themselves with the portion of the king’s meat and drink and God proved Himself first making them better nourished before the prince of the Eunuch who then left them to eat just pulse and drink water all through the period, and later before the king at the end of the whole exercise.
Scripture says, “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” Daniel 1 :20. Knowledge fuels the fear of God and love for Him.
Joseph in a strange land in Potiphar’s house said to Mrs. Potiphar when she kept making advances at him, “How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” None of his people were there with him, but the knowledge of God and His fear was in his heart.
No wonder all through, scripture kept saying God gave him grace and favour and his presence was with him and made all he did to prosper. Gen. 39. When you walk uprightly, God will not withhold anything good from you. He will give you grace and glory.
Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD (Gen. 6 :8) because he walked uprightly. verse 9.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let the passion for the knowledge of You overwhelm me.
