Rhema For Living 25th December 2022 OFM Devotional MESSAGE

What a great joy to celebrate the birth of God’s precious gift to us this day of Christmas! Our mouths are filled with laughter and our hearts with joy and gratitude to God. What else would He have given us than the gift of His only begotten son, a treasure to Him? A gift that floods other gifts into our lives.

A gift that brought us out of darkness and translated into the kingdom of dear son. A gift that restored all the devil stole from us establishing our dominion.

A gift that gave us a voice, a name and made us to have hope for eternity. An inestimable gift beyond human description. We are rejoicing and celebrating the birth of this precious gift, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Our Master and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

As we therefore celebrate the birth of God’s precious gift to us, we are to wholeheartedly thank Him for the display of this awesome love to us, even when we did not deserve it.

We are to also express His nature of love to others sharing the good news and also give gifts to them to celebrate His birth because Christmas is a season of good tidings. It is time to share gifts because His birth displayed God’s awesome provision and favour. From afar the wise men brought gold, frankincense and myrrh. What He would need all through his life and even his death. Matt. 2:11

As you celebrate and demonstrate the love of Christmas, you will not lack the love of God in all your affairs.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I thank you for your precious gift of your only begotten son to me and humanity.
